Description:
Here at Digi, we love to work on any project no matter how large or small and this porch design whist traditional in its look and feel, needed to accommodate some modern twists for the owner of the dwelling. The driver for this particular design was the owner wishing to replace a rather worn out looking front entrance porch, which was out of date, poorly constructed and no use in terms of availability for storage. The design we proposed whilst cosy in its over footprint, achieved the required space for hanging coats and kicking off shoes. But the main design element required for this particular porch, was the oversized parcel / letter box to the side of the porch – with home shopping becoming so prevalent in this day and age, the “secret” parcel drop to the side of the porch, enables the modern day delivery driver to post any size of parcel through the letter box, without the need for the consignment to be left outside of the front door!
