Design
“A contemporary feel” were some of the first words uttered by the client when we made our first visit, and we feel that this design has achieved this and then some. The open plan kitchen and dining was planned for this very social family, for which entertaining was a big part of their lives. Plenty of glass was key with a feature glazed flat rooflight to the dining area, along with a feature nib to add privacy to the bedrooms to the far wing of the layout.

- Large steel beam between the existing dwelling and the extension

- Flat roof with secret gutter
