Design
The family in this home desperately needed more bedrooms, with children growing up fast and the need for more breakout space. This coupled with a new study to be incorporated within the two storey extension to be bolted onto the rear of this period property in Oxfordshire. It’s an all too familiar story since the pandemic, that more and more of us are working from home and we were mindful to create a working environment that had great views to the garden, but was also partitioned away enough from the main dwelling.
Features include:
- Sympathetically designed two storey rear extension in materials to harmonise with the host dwelling
- Study to the ground floor
- Master bedroom to the upper floor, with part conversion of the existing dwelling to form a dressing room and ensuite
- Vaulted roof
- Juliet balcony to take in the views of the valley to the rear
